An Endless, Genuine, Helpful, Interest in other people.
If you poses this personal characteristic or know someone who does, you’ll know that people are attracted to them like bees are to honey. And you will also know that it’s a personal characteristic that’s hard to fake, you’ve either got it or you haven’t, and if you try and pretend most people will cut through the charade like a knife through butter.
So if most people haven’t and won’t ever have the personal characteristic of an ‘Endless, Genuine, Helpful, Interest in other people’, how then is it possible to ethical manipulate your prospects and clients into believing you do, when in fact you don’t.
Is it REALLY possible to get your prospects and clients to ‘Treat you like a King and Obey you like a Heart Surgeon’ long before a word is said?
Is there one incredible answer to all your problems of commoditization, competition, price resistance, stalls and delays and objections?

Switching your Marketing Model from ‘Selling’ to ‘Educating’ and ‘Informing’ and ‘Helping people’, by helping people, I mean helping your clients or prospects solve their most pressing problems.
It’s taking people from problem to solution, pain to pleasure. It’s switching from an ‘Uninvited Pest’ as you are as a sales man trying to flog stuff to a ‘Welcomed Guest’ who diagnoses and prescribes solutions.
Here, it might be appropriate to reveal my definition of an entrepreneur is “A Person that Solves Peoples Problems at a Profit” otherwise you’d be a ‘nurse or a fire man or something like that, and they sure don’t get paid what they’re worth for what they do.
Bottom line is your marketing has to switch from Selling to Education and you do that by providing valuable and free information.
For example, If you are a chiropractor your might have a free report, DVD, CD or Internet download that reveals “7 Quick and Easy Ways to Relieve Back Pain Almost Instantly”.
Conversely, if you sell Real Estate it might be a Book, DVD or CD that Reveal “How to Sell Your Property Quick and Easy at Top Dollar”.
If you sell patios it might be “The 7 Big Costly Mistakes People make When Choosing a Patio and How to Avoid them”.
Yet most Chiropractors, most Real Estate Agents, most Patio Companies, in fact virtually everybody tries to sell you stuff, when we hate being sold.
They, the prospects, need to have the Illusion that they discovered you, not that they were sold something.
Now there is an even more important reason for offering education, offering to help people. And it’s to do with being having the most financial economic advantage you could ever have over a competitor.
It’s called…
Economic Advantage
You see at any one time, for any product or service about 3% of the market is hot and heavy and ready to buy. Another 6% is very open to it. Another 30% are not thinking about it but could be interested. Another 30% is not interested and the finally 30% odd has no Interest what so ever and even if it was offered it for free they wouldn’t be interested.
This is where most business owners and marketing victims because they only use “One Shot” Advertising that’s designed to attract the 3% who are ‘hot and heavy’. Their marketing is here today and gone tomorrow
Yet if you offered a Free report CD or DVD education that helps the 3% ‘Hot and Heavy’s’ now, tips the 6% over to a sale and gets the interested 30% to put their hands up and say “I want to know more”.
Then you have an economic advantage over your competitor and your advertising makes instant sales and builds a list of interested prospects that would if you marketed to them in the future, convert to more sales.
Now, not all of them will buy but my clients and myself have enjoyed statistics like 10% to 20% conversion over a strategically sequences’ series of offers to an interested group of prospects.
So it’s really quite simple, If you would like your marketing and advertising to perform dramatically better and make more money, If you want your prospects and clients to fall in love with you, If you want your marketing to create the illusion of a ‘Personal Endless, Genuine, Helpful Interest in other people’s problems’ then figure out how to educate your prospects and clients via Free, Valuable Information.
You see Everybody that Educates and Teaches is seen as an Expert and an Authority. And you’re no longer questioned instead you are obeyed and seen to have a ‘Personal, Genuine, Helpful Interest in other people’.
