Rebellious Entrepreneurs Have Relatively Few “Clicks on The Dial” and Understand That Doing a Few Important Tasks Well Contribute Enormously to Their Wealth…….

Rebellious Entrepreneurs have relatively few “clicks on the dial”. One of the most profound differences between Rebellious Entrepreneurs and the rest is the ability to extract the lessons and strategies from what they observe, then to transfer and apply those lessons and strategies to their own particular money making efforts.

However, Rebellious Entrepreneurs rely mostly on a relatively small short list of ideas, strategies and methods used repetitively in business after business and category after category. I refer to these as ‘clicks on the dial’. It’s significantly important for you to understand that you…

do not need a massive quantity of strategies, tactics and knowledge in order

for you to achieve your objective of being financially independent.

As an example only this week I was speaking to one of my Platinum members who operates a very sophisticated direct marketing company from home. He told me of an incredibly small change he’d made to one of his many mail outs. In this case it was a change to a ‘tear sheet’.

For those of you who don’t know, an example of a ‘tear sheet’ is a copy of an ad that’s run in a magazine appearing as if it’s been torn out of the magazine. What savvy direct response markers do is have that legitimate ad, that’s run in say a TV magazine, copied identically (including the torn edge) thousands of times. With this ‘legitimate tear sheet’ in hand you then write in hand writing across the top something like “Hi, make sure you read this straight away because this programme really works” and then it’s signed by a real persons Christian name and then mailed to thousands of prospects.

So what changed?

In this case instead of signing it with his real name he scribbled an indecipherable initial. This absolute minor change or ‘click on the dial’ has at this early stage of testing amounted to a 30-50% increase in results. This will probably translate to tens of thousands if not hundreds of thousands of extra income. “Small Hinges Swing Big Doors”

The assumption we came to is when the prospect saw a real persons name like ‘Mal’ they immediately spent their time working out which ‘Mal’ it was rather than doing what we wanted them to do which was to read the ‘copy’ etc. The conclusion we made by the scribbled initial is that they simply didn’t go through that mental process and just started reading.

So all those stats you have been bombarded with since the first day you contemplated going into business; you know the ones about how “the majority of businesses fail in the first five years” and “many or most small businesses take several YEARS to reach break-even point” …… read them and file them away in a place in your mind under the heading of “So What?” Instead work on the right ‘clicks on the dial’ for you and your business endeavours.

Best regards

Mal
